Our educational approach in the Sixth Form in Valencia

We shape responsible, capable young people, ready to set out on the journey towards personal and professional fulfilment. Our Sixth Form has its own programme built around genuine personal accompaniment (one-to-one guidance and support), focused on helping each student find their vocation and make decisions about their future at university.

We develop outstanding students at our private Sixth Form in Valencia

The academic excellence of our school shows in the results our students achieve year after year in the Spanish university entrance exams (PAU/EBAU), thanks to their own efforts and to the work of our teaching and guidance teams.

Initial and ongoing diagnostic assessment

To ease the transition from Secondary (ESO) to Sixth Form, we devote the first few weeks to induction days. We assess students to identify their strengths and the areas they need to develop, and we draw up a personalised plan. In our bilingual Sixth Form in Valencia we encourage teamwork, communication and good relationships, particularly when groups are re-formed by subject pathway.

Students who are guided and supported

Personalised study plan

Individual academic action plan: the form tutor, together with the guidance department, draws up a specific plan for each student, working with the teachers in each subject area and with the school chaplaincy.

Careers guidance programme

The WE (Work Experience) programme gives students in 1º de Bachillerato (age 16–17) the chance to see how a company works day to day and to gain real work experience, spending working days alongside professionals in the fields they have shown an interest in. Our aim is for them to discover the value of work, a spirit of service and teamwork, and to learn to take on responsibility at work.

Mentoring programme

The aim of this programme is to support each student at such an important personal and academic moment, helping them reflect on what they have learned over these years and look to the future with enthusiasm. Through mentoring, a mentor supports each student, with complete respect for their individuality and their own pace, as they take on the challenge of growing towards their full potential.

Committed students at our private Sixth Form in Valencia

Programme of virtues and education for love

By forming our students’ will, affections and emotions through these programmes, our aim is for them to grow in maturity appropriate to their age: a maturity that shows in being faithful to the responsibilities they take on, in understanding their own feelings and integrating them with every other dimension of their life, in making wise decisions and in opening up to others and giving themselves to them — in short, in loving.

Social participation programmememememe

We encourage our students’ social commitment through our Social Participation Programme. Working with a range of institutions, our students see the needs of others at first hand and learn to respond in a committed, effective way, developing greater charity and empathy towards everyone around them.

Brave enough to bear witness, generous enough to serve.

Developing digitally skilled students at our private Sixth Form in Valencia

Digital skills

We are a leading school, and we bring technology into our students’ academic education gradually, progressively and in an age-appropriate way, so that they learn to use it effectively and efficiently: to increase their productivity and creativity, to communicate ideas and to learn collaboratively — without ever losing sight of the social and ethical responsibility that using it involves.
